LinFX is dedicated to bringing you high quality graphics, wallpapers, themes, links and effects(FX) for use on your Linux system.

LinFX will post full resolution photos and wallpapers, most of the graphics will be free for download and use. LinFX uses and promotes PCLinuxOS. In our opinion it is the best computer Desktop operating system available today. The majority of the FX(graphics) here will be geared toward PClinuxOS. That said, there will also be plenty of graphics, news and info for any Linux user.

New Documentation Site Launched

The new PCLinuxOS Documentation site has been launched. We are currently recruiting members with a knowledge of PCLinuxOS to assist with the rebuilding of documentation for PCLinuxOS. Please visit MyPClinuxOS where a topic is in progress about the recreation of our documentation.

Apturl is a web-based tool that install applications on the PCLinuxOS distribution. This is a web interface for APT, and the packages are downloaded and installed from official PCLinuxOS repositories right from your brower.

The AptURL Protocol Handler and web browser support are required to install packages.

Hello Everybody ...

This is an announcement to all you buddy artists ... PCLinuxOS is looking for a mascot ... the mascot can be anything you would like it too be .... let your imaginations run wild ... but not too wild remember we do have younger users ...

The Prize will be either a Seagate 250 GB SATA kindly donated by the guys over at LinPC or $60 cash .... Voting for the prize is listed on Linfx.com

All entries are to be posted on the MyPCLinuxOS Forum Board or they will not be entered

The Duration of the competition will run for 8 weeks from 13th April 2009 closing on Sunday the 14th June 2009

There will be a maximum of 3 entries per person ... anymore than 3 even if outstanding entries they will be removed

Winning entries will be put to vote on Linfx.com to get the entries down to a final 3 ... the winner will be decided by a the team of Devs from the PCLinuxOS Main forum ...
